    Position Overview:

    As the Director of Operations - Facilities and Construction, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the company's operational processes, managing facilities, and leading construction projects. This role requires a dynamic leader with a comprehensive understanding of operations, facilities management, and construction, coupled with the ability to drive efficiency and excellence in all facets of our business.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Operational Leadership:
      • Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
      • Collaborate with department heads to ensure seamless operational workflows.
    2. Facilities Management:
      • Oversee the maintenance and functionality of company facilities.
      • Implement best practices for facility management and workplace optimization.
    3. Construction Project Management:
      • Lead and manage construction projects from inception to completion.
      • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
    4. Budgeting and Cost Control:
      • Develop and manage budgets for operations, facilities, and construction projects.
      • Implement cost-control measures to ensure projects are completed within budget.
    5. Compliance and Safety:
      • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
      • Implement and oversee safety protocols for facilities and construction sites.
    6. Vendor and Contractor Management:
      • Evaluate and manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and contractors.
      • Negotiate contracts and ensure quality standards are met.
    7. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
      • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, HR, and executive leadership.
      • Ensure alignment of operational activities with overall business objectives.
    8. Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
      • Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor operational and project performance.
      • Provide regular reports to executive leadership on operational and project status.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
    • Proven experience in operations leadership, facilities management, and construction project management.
    • Strong understanding of safety regulations, building codes, and construction best practices.
    • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
    • Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
    • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office.
