    Job Overview:

    We are seeking a highly skilled Security Privacy Architect with extensive experience in secure system design, backend engineering, and regulatory compliance to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing secure system architectures, ensuring compliance with global regulations such as GDPR and CCPA, and driving data security and privacy initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing service-level features, secure system design, and working in regulated environments.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement secure system architectures and designs for cloud and IoT devices, focusing on data security and privacy.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement secure service-level features using TypeScript, Golang, Rust, C++, or JavaScript.
    • Ensure compliance with global regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and other relevant standards in all security and privacy-related initiatives.
    • Implement API descriptor specifications such as Protocol Buffers, GraphQL, or OpenAPI to enhance security and privacy in data exchange processes.
    • Utilize Kubernetes or similar platforms to deploy and manage secure architectures in cloud environments.
    • Design and implement data streaming architectures and methodologies to enable real-time data security monitoring and response.
    • Stay updated on emerging security and privacy trends, technologies, and regulations to continuously enhance our security posture.
    • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members on security and privacy best practices and methodologies.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or mathematics from a reputed academic institution; Master's degree preferred.
    • 7+ years of experience as a Security Engineer or Backend Engineer, with a focus on secure system design and architecture. Flexibility to consider candidates with 5+ years of experience if accompanied by a Master's degree.
    • Proficiency in developing service-level features using TypeScript, Golang, Rust, C++, or JavaScript.
    • Strong understanding of API descriptor specifications such as Protocol Buffers, GraphQL, or OpenAPI.
    • Experience working in a highly regulated environment, preferably with connected devices, and familiarity with GDPR, CCPA, or other global regulations.
    • Extensive knowledge and skills in data engineering and information security for cloud and IoT devices.
    • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, with AWS experience considered a plus.
    • Proficiency in Kubernetes or similar container orchestration platforms.
    • Demonstrated tenure in roles, with a track record of staying in positions for 2+ years.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills, communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
