Course Hero is scaling We are looking for a Senior Engineering Manager. You get to combine leadership, use technical insight, and embrace product design thinking. Youll report to our Engineering Director and lead/mentor a team of software engineers. Working with our product, design, and other engineering leaders, you will help us improve not only efficiency but also engagement.

This is a high transparency and impact role. This is an experimental pod tasked with ideating and experimenting to launch study tools and prove product-market fit. This role requires an eye for business, a focus on customer needs/wants/desires, and expertise in driving urgency to constantly ship and iterate.

Are you our Senior Engineering Manager?

• 5+ years leadership or management of a team of software engineers
• Hands-on experience in modern web applications development
• Passion for the best software development practices
• Strong results-oriented drive and desire to achieve big things
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent practical experience

The base pay for this position is dependent on multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed below. You may also be eligible to participate in our bonus program and may be offered an equity award, benefits, and other types of compensation.

This role is eligible for hire in the San Fransisco Bay Area, Vancouver (Canada), and Toronto (Canada).

In accordance with Canadian law, the base salary for this role if filled within Canada is as follows.

Canada Pay Range $154,000$208,000 CAD

In accordance with California law, the base salary for this role if filled within SF Bay Area, California is as follows.

SF Bay Area, California Pay Range $210,000$284,000 USD
