    Job Requisition ID#: 453The Robert E. Morris Company is a division of Morris Group, Inc. We supply CNC machine tools, tooling, accessories, software, automation, and more to manufacturers of precision machined parts.

    Our customer base is located in the New England states plus northern New Jersey and eastern New York, including the New York metropolitan area and Long Island.

    Job ResponsibilitiesThe CNC Machine Installation Technician will be mechanically inclined and have some knowledge of electrical theory and the associated principles.


    Duties include, but are not limited to:

    Traveling to customer sites to install all our product machine types and related equipment Applying machine tool manuals, technical documents, internal and vendor resource to optimally complete machine installation Ensuring accurate documentation is completed and submitted to office and customer regarding issues and machine status Test all machine functions and installed options to complete the installation Willing to accept training to maintain an in-depth knowledge of machine tool product lines represented by the company The Robert E Morris Company will provide all trainings vital to be proficient Job Qualifications/Competencies Three - five years validated experience in CNC Maintenance or Mechanical Maintenance field Ability to read and interpret manuals and product drawings Excellent technical, communication, and presentation skills Experience with Microsoft Office, email and other business programs as the need arises Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job Ability to work flexible hours.

    Frequent travel and driving throughout a regional territory are necessary, as well as some overnight travel Other Functions:
