    Machine Shop Project Manager

    • Machine shop (preferably five years' experience)
    • CNC programming experience in Gibbs Cam Software
    • Machined Parts Estimating
    • Strong Client relations
    • Examine blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications to understand project requirements and scope of work.
    • Identify the materials, tools, and equipment needed for projects, and estimate their costs accurately.
    • Assess the labor requirements for each project, including skilled and unskilled labor, and calculate labor costs based on project timelines and complexity.
    • Factor in overhead costs, such as utilities, maintenance, and administrative expenses, as well as any additional miscellaneous expenses relevant to the project.
    • Conduct thorough cost analysis to determine the total project cost, ensuring profitability while remaining competitive in the market.
    • Develop pricing strategies that account for material costs, labor expenses, overhead, and profit margins
    • Work closely with personnel to gather necessary information and ensure that estimates meet project objectives.
    • Prepare detailed bids and proposals in response to client requests for quotation (RFQ), ensuring accuracy.
    • Extremely important to Maintain comprehensive records of project estimates, including cost breakdowns, assumptions, and documentation of any deviations or change orders.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor pricing to inform pricing strategies and maintain competitiveness in the marketplace.
    • Provide management with reports on bids won/lost.

    Hours are 7am to 3:30pm M-F with possible OT and Weekends depending on workload. Pay is DOE $30-$40/Hr.
