    SUMMARY

    As a Registered Nurse (RN) at Rochester Regional Health, you play a crucial role in patient care. You have a positive impact on the lives of patients, families, and visitors every day, demonstrating courtesy, kindness, respect, and compassion.

    The Medical Observation Unit at Rochester General Hospital is a 38-bed unit for patients with short hospital stays.

    STATUS: Part Time (20 hours per week)

    LOCATION: Rochester General Hospital

    DEPARTMENT: Medical Observation Unit (MOU)

    SCHEDULE: Day/Evening/Night, every other Weekend/Holiday

    ATTRIBUTES

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Patient Satisfaction. Solicit and respond to patient feedback to enhance the patient experience

    • Medication Administration & Reporting. Administer medication and provide/receive reports

    • Documentation. Ensure accurate patient care documentation

    EDUCATION: AS: Nursing (Required)

    LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS: BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association (AHA), RN - Registered Nurse - New York State Education Department (NYSED)

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Medium Work - physical exertion and frequent movement required

    Additional requirements: Consult specific departmental requirements

    PAY RANGE: $35.75 - $48.00
