    POSITION SUMMARY:


    The Director of PMO leads a team of IT Program Management Managers and Senior Specialists to deliver IT programs and projects that align with the business objectives and global standards.

    You will be responsible for managing Program level Risks, Quality and Procurement.

    The Director of PMO is responsible for the strategic vision, direction, and governance of the IT NA PMO, as well as the talent development and performance management of the PMO staff.

    You will work to provide guidance on Nestle Project Management Ways of Working to the larger Project Management community via the Community of Practice for Project Management for IT NA (North America)

    Strong Strategy planning for overall IT NA Programs, including planning and managing a workforce of PMOs, composed by internal and external resources (direct reports or reports of IT functions) enabling an effective mix team that lead and manage Programs that add value to the Nestle business

    Manage the full lifecycle of IT programs and projects, ensuring they meet the business case, scope, quality, time, and budget requirements, and adhere to established methodologies.

    Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders across the program, and manage program-level risks, quality, and procurement and create a differentiated culture within the zone Program Management that supports the strategy, whilst contributing to the promotion of a digitally customer-centric culture across the organization

    Build and manage an IT NA project management community and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the IT Function.

    Establish and implement IT programs and projects that have impacts on business results in alignment with Zone NA management and globally managed programs.

    Gather and report consolidated program and project status and financial information to business sponsors, markets, and zone management.

    Act as a central governing body delivering quality assurance for selected programs and projects, by reviewing and auditing adherence to methodologies, budgets, and timings.

    Provide staffing and management for agreed initiatives within the IT NA project portfolio.
    Develop High Performing team, in terms of management of recruitment, performance, succession plans, and personal development and training
    Create a differentiated ethos / culture within the zone Program Management that supports the strategy, whilst contributing to the promotion of a digitally customer-centric culture across the organization

    Required

    Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration or related field, or equivalent work experience.
    15+ years of experience in IT and business/industry.
    10+ years of diverse roles and increasing leadership responsibilities across major projects and programs, including agile projects and programs.
    5+ years of experience IT program and project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.

    Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of the organization.
    Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills, with the ability to develop and motivate high-performing teams.
    Ability to manage multiple priorities, risks, and issues in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
    Certification in Project Management (PMP), Program Management (PgMP), or Agile (PMI-ACP) is preferred.
