    Summary/Objective

    The Human Resources Business Partner demonstrates accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. Integrates and develops processes that meet business needs across the organization. Involved in long-term planning. This role contributes to the overall strategy and handles complex issues within functional areas area of expertise.

    Essential Functions/Responsibilities
    Provide expertise for the full scope of Human Resource (HR) functions including all aspects of professional relations, hourly relations, compensation, training, immigration, global mobility, and communications for employees reporting to the SAE Cincinnati office
    Assist client group(s) with Recruiting strategies and activities, including resume and phone screening, development of a recruitment strategy, compensation proposals, offer letters and employee onboarding
    Help facilitate change efforts
    Manage employee relations issues and provides assistance and advice on HR topics
    Make recommendations to Safran USA HR for policy and process improvements
    Coordinate employee terminations with Safran USA
    Provide support or deliver training on a variety of Human Resources topics including interviewing and EEO compliance
    Ensure Safran's training goals are achieved by encouraging employee training through classroom and virtual learning
    Participate in Safran Talent network in the US to facilitate career growth and mobility for the workforce
    Manage the annual performance review, merit and bonus campaigns
    Help facilitate employee communications and town hall meetings
    Act as an impartial advocate to ensure that all individuals receive fair and equitable treatment.
    Serve as the first point of contact for employees at the site on HR topics and liaise with SUSA HR for complex matters
    Establishes and maintains department records and reports
    Participate in staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars
    Maintain close working relationship with Payroll, Benefits, Safran University NA, Talent Management, International Mobility, as well as other SAE HR team members
    Manage data in SELIA and ADP; ensure data integrity in HRIS system and HR records, making changes and updates when necessary and provide troubleshooting and training for users
    Validate payrolls on a bi-weekly basis
    Coordinate immigration matters for hiring and mobility
    Design and lead employee engagement activities and strengthen the Safran culture at the site
    Performs other incidental and related duties required and assigned

    Travel specifictity
    Occasional travel less than 5% annually

    This job operates in a professional office environment. The site currently permits 1 day remote work per week.

    Supervisory Responsibility

    This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

    Candidate skills & requirements
    Required Education and Experience

    Bachelor's degree and five or more years of Human Resources experience, OR Nine (9) years' experience in the HR field, OR any appropriate combination of education and experience.

    Previous experience with ADP and SuccessFactors HRIS system is a plus.
    Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
    Must be able to handle multiple projects, changing priorities and be deadline sensitive.
    Must be self-motivated and detail oriented.
    Ability to relate with employees at all levels.
    Intermediate to advanced Excel and MS Word skills.
    Must be able to work independently and have strong problem-solving skills.
    Customer Service oriented.
