About the Department
The Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology is a member of the NCI National Clinical Trials Network (NCTN).
The main goal of the NCTN is to conduct definitive, randomized, late phase clinical treatment trials and advanced imaging trials across a broad range of diseases and diverse patient populations.
The Alliance member network comprises nearly 10,000 cancer specialists at over 1,000 hospitals, medical centers, and community clinics across the United States and Canada.
The Program Coordinator will provide day to day administrative and project support to the CPOP unit.Job Summary
Provide operational and administrative support to senior management and other protocol staff, helping to support day to day coordination for the Chicago Protocol Operations Program (CPOP).
Provides general administrative assistance on the daily operations of CPOP, including managing calendars of senior management, including the Principal Investigator (PI).
Prepares, collects, and distributes presentations, notices, agendas, meeting minutes and other documentation/communication.Has moderate/high level of interactions with Alliance staff, managers Executive Officers.
Manages all communication and coordination for the Study Concepts Review Committee (SCRC). Includes responsibility for the @allianceconcepts inbox.
Triages and handles requests from external collaborator, and internal Alliance personnel.
Schedule and coordinate in person and virtual meetings for Protocol staff and/or committee chairs as requested.
Assist with planning and preparing presentations, event outreach and postevent write ups/minutes.
Maintain several program trackers, including Study Chair and Cochair tracker.
Assists with the assembly of teams and the development of detailed work plans, schedules, resource plans and status reports.
Shared responsibility for daily RSS rostering
Lead, organize, coordinate, and follow up on special projects as assigned.
Develops and maintains various distribution lists, databases, process flows and/or spreadsheets.
Collect and distribute reports, information, and other materials.
Uses moderate/solid understanding and experience to administer the delivery of services to program participants and/or beneficiaries.
Sets and communicates program priorities and performance standards and assesses operations using these criteria. Plans and conducts quality assurance reviews ad recommends changes as appropriate.
Performs other related work as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
Minimum requirements include a college or university degree in related field.
Work
Experience:
Minimum requirements include knowledge and skills developed through 25 years of work experience in a related job discipline.

Experience:
Relevant work experience (healthcare, clinical research or oncology experience).
