    Bright Light Academy is seeking an experienced toddler teacher to join the teaching team in our two year old's classroom.
    The ideal candidates will have two+ years experience working with young children, be a team player and have a passion for learning and growing in the field of early childhood education.

    Responsibilities:
    • Collaborate with the lead and assistant teachers to assist and implement daily lesson plans and activities.
    • Help create a safe and stimulating classroom environment for toddlers, preschoolers, and pre-k students.
    • Monitor and engage with children during playtime, meals, and other daily routines.
    • Provide individual and group support to children as needed.
    • Communicate regularly with parents about their child's development and progress.
    Qualifications:
    • Have two+ years experience working with children.
    • Able to pass state, federal, and child abuse background checks.
    • With Legal age and able to work in the United States.
    • A love for children and a desire to work with toddlers.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
    • Be able to lift up to 40lbs, see, hear & sit on the floor with children.
    • Must be patient, nurturing, and able to create a positive learning environment.
    • A CDA or Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Ed or Children & Families preferred.

    Position Overview:
    • This position is a great opportunity for those interested in expanding their experience in the field of early childhood education.
    • While this listing is FULL-TIME, staff work a FOUR-DAY work week.
    • For those with 2500 hours of experience, pay range starts at $15.50 up to $17.50 (relative to experience & education) per hour with a pay increase based on performance at the end of a 90 day probation period.
    • Full time staff also receive paid holidays & time off, sick days, annual raises & reduced child care.
