    Position Overview:
    We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Accountant to join our remote team in the United States.

    The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of hands-on experience in payroll processing, coupled with a strong understanding of accounting and finance principles.

    Expertise in payroll management and international payroll management is highly desirable.


    Responsibilities:


    Supervise/Process payroll accurately and timely for Arkose Labs employees in compliance with company policies and regulations, with a specific focus on managing international payrolls across multiple countries.

    Maintain payroll records, including employee information, tax withholdings, deductions, and other relevant data.
    Ensure all payroll transactions are processed efficiently and accurately, including bonuses, commissions, and benefits.
    Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
    Prepare month end Payroll accruals including Bonus,Commissions.
    Assist in Month end close and other GL functions.
    Assist in year end audits and other audits world wide.
    Bring ideas for process improvements,efficiency and enhancements.
    Stay updated on payroll tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance at all times.
    Collaborate with HR and finance teams to address payroll-related inquiries and resolve issues.
    Generate payroll reports and analyze data to support business decision-making processes.
    Assist with ad-hoc projects and tasks related to payroll and finance operations as needed.


    Requirements:
    Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.2-3 years of experience in payroll processing. With a preference for candidates who have handled international payroll.
    Strong understanding of accounting and finance principles.
    Experienc with Netsuite,ADP workforce now and Celergo preferred.
    Experience with international payroll processing is preferred, including familiarity with global payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
    Proficiency in payroll software and MS Excel.
    Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    The anticipated salary range for this position is $85,000 - $95,000. Equity and benefits may be provided as part of the compensation package, depending on the position offered. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range.

    The exact salary will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidates skills, experience, and other qualifications as well as the candidates location of residence.

    In addition to base salary, some roles may be eligible for a variable bonus based on a combination of company performance, employee performance, and management discretion.
