    Becoming Our AV Engineering Specialist - AV Design Engineer

    Schedule:

    This position works 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with flexibility depending on scheduling requirements. You'll earn a competitive salary of $70k - $100k/year. This is an on-site position in our Birmingham office.

    Day-to-Day:

    As an AV Engineering Specialist - AV Design Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in bringing audio-visual solutions to life. You will collaborate with our team to design, install, and troubleshoot cutting-edge AV systems. Your technical knowledge will be key in meeting or exceeding our customers' expectations.

    You'll dive into testing systems, diagnosing issues, and ensuring optimal performance. From CAD drawings to system integration, your work will be the backbone of our projects.

    Qualifications:

    • A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field OR extensive AV engineering experience
    • 5+ years of AV engineering experience
    • A strong understanding of AV technologies and products for commercial applications
    • Knowledge of IT/business infrastructure and Microsoft Office suite
    • Knowledge of control systems, DSPs, and other AV product setup and programming
    • Ability to obtain AVIXA CTS-D certification within 1 year
    • Ability to use AutoCAD efficiently
    • Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
    • Excellent communication skills

    Certification in Crestron, AMX, and/or Q-SYS programming is a plus.
