Red Sun Technology is looking for qualified candidates to fill our Quality Assurance Manager with our client in Florida, this position is 100% remote.

Our client requires a drivers license copy, with resume, 3 professional references and 3 projects worked on. This role is for US citizens or Green Card holders only.
Scope of this position is Middle level management in quality assurance functions. Works under general direction of senior level management. Typically manages and mentors supervisors, project leaders and/or technical staff. Acts as a project leader and a subject matter expert on multiple and complex projects.

Frequently reports to a IT Chief Operating Officer, Operating Unit IT Executive, Departmental IT Executive or Director, Systems and Programming.

Requirements:
A minimum of 8 years of Quality Assurance experience
Ensures that quality methods and procedures are executed and that products meet the highest quality standards
Ensures that products, applications, and systems are in compliance with established quality standards, and meet customer requirements
Analyzes best-in-class processes, establishes customer satisfaction metrics, understands the interaction and relationship of business operations and operating systems and network processes
Champions the application of quality principles in business and IT processes through training, meeting and team facilitation, communication programs and team building activities
Responsible for researching, developing and implementing testing methods and procedures
Monitors and reports on defects
Manages testing business processes/end user functions
Works with OCM on change management needs and business process alignment
Responsible for UAT testing activities within their supported module(s); Ensures adequate testing has been conducted following Agency, MES, and TCoE standards
Leads and manages automation staff
Leads and manages business testers, and Partner Agency testersfor UAT
Responsible for the quality and timeliness of all automation test deliverables, documentation, and reports
Escalates any testing-related issues or conflicts to the TCoE Lead
Participates in module meetings, including status calls and planning sessions representing the TCoE
Maintains the ALM and automation test suite
Responsible for reviewing and contributing to each vendors project schedule specifically related to testing activities
Responsible for reviewing and contributing to each vendor's test plans and any other test-related documents or other assigned deliverables
Perform other duties as required.

Primary duties:
Proficient with Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Project, SharePoint, the Microsoft 365 Office Suite, and ALM tools, preference for Jira;
Ability to work independently as well as in teams in order to meet deadlines;
Ability to organize data into logical format for presentation in reports, documents, and other written materials;
Ability to conduct fact finding research, to work independently, plan, organize, and coordinate work assignments;
Proven communication skills, both written and oral, with technical and non-technical staff, and all levels of management;
Proficiency in end-user based testing practices with knowledge of SIT, UAT, Regression, Automation, and Performance testing
Must possess the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others;
Goal oriented action focused, pragmatic and self-disciplined;
Strong analytical, problem-solving skills;
Ability to elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, mapping of business processes, use cases, task and workflow analysis;
Experience in developing and conducting test processes for multiple types of systems, client users and/or units across an organization.
Prior management, supervisory or team leader experience.

PMP, certified contract manager, ISTQB Foundation, ISTQB Advanced Test Manager
