- Technical leading and supervision both internal and external installation teams on-site.
- Serve as the primary on-site contact for installers and technical suppliers, ensuring smooth coordination and communication.
- Attend construction management progress meetings and plan for the electrical site activities.
- Provide technical guidance to construction teams and associated contractors, ensuring a clear understanding of all engineering packages, project specifications, and standards.
- Ensure all installations comply with design documentation, project requirements, industry standards, and company quality guidelines.
- Contribute to planned assembly workflows strategically and allocate resources efficiently.
- Determine schedules, sequences, and assignments for work activities, based on work priority, quantity of equipment, and skill personnel.
- Ensure the availability and readiness of necessary tools, equipment, and preconditions for installation.
- Supervise electrical tests (cold commissioning) and, if necessary, conduct them personally, ensuring tests are properly documented after execution.
- Collaborate with commissioning staff to perform functional tests and begin the system commissioning process.
- Prepare red-line versions of documents and assist the engineering team with their clarification and implementation into the "As Built"-Documentation.
- Inspects work in progress and completed work to ensure standards are met.
- Prepares work orders and technical specifications/reports as needed.
- Uphold and champion a strong commitment to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) excellence in all work aspects. Lead by example by strictly adhering to HSE guidelines and best practices.
- Education: Completed vocational training as a skilled worker, foreman, or technician in the field of electrical engineering OR
- A bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management (with professional experience)
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- Professional background/experience: Experience in the low voltage domain; knowledge of medium voltage is a plus.
- Demonstrable experience in an Electrical Instrumentation and Control Engineering supervisory role is preferred.
- Experience in installation and commissioning of LV power distribution systems and control cabinets is preferred.
- Ability to interpret P&IDs, electrical drawings, and electrical panel designs.
- Read and interpret plans, schematics, process control flow diagrams, and system/network drawings.
- Proven expertise in coordinating installation contractors and companies.
- Familiarity with HSE guidelines.
- Comprehensive understanding of IEC standards and the Installation and Commissioning Process.
- Must have a thorough knowledge of various software packages including Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook

Description
Insight Global is seeking an Electrical Construction PM, for an industrial client working on a new construction project in Moses Lake, Washington for the next 6 to 9 months, with projects scattered across the country to follow.
The primary role involves leading and technical supervising installation teams for commissioning of LV power distribution systems and control cabinets on project sites.
The individual will act as the main on-site contact for the technical OEM supplier and coordinate smoothly with installation contractors.
Responsibilities also include providing technical guidance, overseeing electrical tests, and ensuring installations are in line with set standards and design documentation.
This role involves travel to the job site to supervise and document installation. This position offers per diem and travel stipends home for well qualified candidates who meet standards for eligibility.Responsibilities will include the following:
