    We're thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Veterinary Technician to help lead our dynamic team at VCA

    Tanglewilde Animal Hospital Job Title:

    Lead Veterinary Technician As a Lead Veterinary Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional patient care and will also serve as the lead surgery technician, overseeing surgical procedures.

    Additionally, you will actively contribute to mentoring and training fellow veterinary technicians to maintain the highest standards of care within our clinic.

    Assist veterinarians in routine examinations, surgeries, and dental procedures
    Administer medications and treatments as directed by the veterinarian
    Perform laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging
    Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
    Physical examinations and patient assessment
    Educate pet owners on proper animal care and treatment plans
    Surgery prep, anesthesia monitoring, and patient recovery
    IVC placement and Venipuncture
    Assist in training and mentoring new veterinary technicians

    Compensation:
    Starting at $ hr. Starting range is determined by license, skill set, and years of experience in the field. Financial growth opportunities available.


    Qualifications:
    Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT/ CVT/RVT).
