JOB DESCRIPTION:
Provides comprehensive health care to patients in various states of health or illness in collaboration with one or more physicians using guidelines agreed upon with physicians.
Provides care to patients in various states of health and/or illness under the scope of practice developed with their physician group.
This position supports the UVMMC Orthopedics Spine Program, providing clinical assessment and treatment for patients back and neck pain and spinal disorders.
EDUCATION:
Successful completion of educational program recognized by the national Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, certification as a Vermont Physician Assistant through completion of Board approved apprenticeship and evaluation or graduation from the board-approved P.A.
EXPERIENCE:
Previous experience as a Physician Assistant desired.
