Student Research Assistant - Dearborn

Job summary
The student assistant will work for 10 hours/week during normal NSB building hours in support of an NSF grant supported project titled Assessing the systematics and diversity of Haemosporida in African reptiles.This position requires familiarity with common molecular biology laboratory techniques including MEGA and ArcGIS.
The student assistant will perform DNA barcoding techniques (DNA extraction PCR gel electrophoresis amplicon purification)
Data analysis (DNA sequence assembly alignment phylogenetic analysis Geospatial data mapping analysis)
Responsibilities
