    Position Summary:


    The Waterproofing sales manager will be responsible for selling to new and existing clients and schedule sales appointments via self-generated leads.

    This position will oversee the waterproofing sales and estimating team, to ensure they are staying on task and producing. This position will estimate and/or double check all waterproofing estimates that go out the door.

    This position would require site inspections, to produce a scope of work, pricing for materials and labor and a written proposal for waterproofing projects.

    As required, manage the estimating and project process from beginning to end - bidding, completing bid/proposal packages, contract management, creation of hand off packages, submittal process, material procurement, cost management, etc.

    This position will report to the President.

    Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

    • Prospect via cold calls, emails, door-to-door calls, networking and referrals.
    • Set sales appointments with key decision makers at prospective client companies.
    • Establish rapport and developing long-term business relationships with clients.
    • Make sales presentations and partner with clients to establish their needs.
    • Present clients with the most appropriate solutions.
    • Create proposals and reports for clients or generate estimates from blueprint drawings, specifications, field notes, field drawings, and actual field inspections depending on client needs.
    • Submit all contacts and documentation in a timely manner; maintain sales call logs.
    • Follow up with clients on a periodic basis to ensure that their expectations are being met.
    • Coordinate with Upper Management/President to develop sales strategies for the waterproofing department. This position will be responsible for all sales that come from the waterproofing department between yourself and the waterproofing team.
    • Understand the contract to ensure the Company's responsibilities and scope of the work.
    • Responsible for catching deviations from the specifications and plans as it relates to scope, contract and schedule.
    • Obtain all necessary information, such as: field inspections, measurements, photographs, and sketches required to provide accurate customer pricing.
    • Communicate with owners, architects, engineers, general contractors and property managers.
    • Attend/conduct all weekly meetings in conjunctions with project start-up, pre-bid, sales, job progress.

    Requirements:

    Required:
    High school diploma.


    • Minimum of 7 years of experience estimating Commercial Waterproofing Projects.
    • Must have working knowledge of a digital estimating program (including Microsoft excel). Must be willing to learn on-line system for bidding process.
    • Must be extremely knowledgeable of Microsoft Programs such as Excel and Word.
    • Must be able to conduct take-offs.
    • Not afraid of heights
    • Can climb ladder.
    Knowledge, Skills & Experience (Desirable)


    • Bachelor's degree in construction/engineering related curriculum and/or Sales and Marketing
    • Previous estimating experience needed
    • Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
