Responsibilities
,Provides clerical support to the nutrition department (answering telephone),Collects and enters WIC certification data including demographic information anthropometric biochemical data immunizations data etc.,Issues WIC benefits.,Maintains patient records documents appropriately communicates effectively with other staff members.,Refers clients to appropriate community health services assists in promoting breastfeeding as preferred method feeding using language supportive breastfeeding referring participants follow up breastfeeding team needed,Maintains professional respectful attitude toward all participants patients supports objectives for Local Agency Plan as appropriate attends nutrition department meetings trainings stay updated policies proceduresJob description
