Job DescriptionSwitchcraft is a U.S. manufacturer of connectors, jacks, plugs, molded cable assemblies, patchbays, and switches.Our products are used in a wide variety of industries including medical, GPS, process control, transportation, homeland security, broadcast and pro audio.
We are currently seeking a Tool Die Maker to completes a variety of task which include the building or repairing of simple or progressive dies, fixtures, gages, assembly machines, and tools.
First Shift M-F 6a - 2:30p$35/HourDuties/Responsibilities:Building or repairing of simple or progressive dies, fixtures, gages, assembly machines, and toolsTroubleshoot and understand piece part prints, die designs and related materials and specificationsUse of toolroom equipment, which includes surface grinders, milling machines, jig borers, optical comparators, and hand tools.
Inspects and verifies piece part specifications, tooling specifications, and related dimensional checks, using micrometers, Vernier calipers, dial indicators and surface plates, optical compactors, microscopes, and other related equipment.
