    Front - End Engineer

    2 rounds, 30 minute job fit, second will be 45 min Technical discussion


    As a Front-end Engineer, you will be responsible for developing guided workflows for internal web users and maintaining/deploying team-owned applications hosted on AWS.

    Your expertise in JavaScript and front-end frameworks, such as Vue (preferred), Angular, or React, will be crucial. Additionally, you should have moderate experience with testing tools like JUnit and Cypress. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and a light understanding of AWS services (such as ECS, EC2, and S3) are essential. If you have some experience with Java Spring Boot for backend microservices, that's a plus.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Develop and maintain guided workflows for internal web users.
    Implement changes in the front-end UI.
    Collaborate with back-end API developers to make necessary code changes.
    Ensure adherence to best practices for cloud-based development.
    Participate in API development.
    Maintain and enhance the UI experience.
    Balance 70% front-end work with 30% back-end API responsibilities.

    Qualifications:

    3+ years of experience

    specifically in UI development.
    5+ years overall

    in software engineering.
    Strong knowledge of

    RESTful APIs .
    Proficiency in

    JavaScript

    and front-end frameworks (Vue preferred, Angular, or React).
    Familiarity with

    testing tools

    (JUnit and Cypress).
    Experience with

    Java Spring Boot

    for backend microservices is a bonus.
    Cloud development experience is

    mandatory .
    API development

    skills are also mandatory.

    Project Context:
    You'll be part of the

    Credit Bureau Dispute Modernization initiative , addressing a significant backlog.
    Your team will be responsible for

    all UI experiences related to Credit Bureau Disputes .
    The platform is

    well-established .

    Work distribution:

    80% siloed to agile time , with the remaining 20% involving collaboration with other teams.
