- Develop comprehensive event strategies aligned with business objectives and target audience.
- Plan and execute a calendar of events across the EMEA region, including trade shows, conferences, seminars, and workshops.
- Work closely with Global & EMEA Commercial teams as well as Medical Education department to develop event budgets and manage expenses effectively.
- Ensure all event-related expenditures are tracked, documented, and within budgetary constraints.
- Oversee all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, transportation, accommodations, and on-site coordination.
- Coordinate with external partners and agencies to ensure seamless execution of events.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including commercial, marketing, and medical education, to align event objectives with overall business goals.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure their participation and support in event initiatives.
- Travel extensively within the EMEA region to oversee event logistics and ensure successful execution.
- Provide on-site support and troubleshooting during events to address any issues that may arise.
- Conduct thorough post-event evaluations to measure the success of each event and identify areas for improvement.
- Analyze data and feedback to make informed decisions for future event planning and strategy.
- Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Protocol, Events Managementt or related fields. Advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years proven experience in event management marketing. Experience in roles within the medical devices or healthcare industry would be nice to have.
- English and Spanish profecient.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budget development and management.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- High level of autonomy, resilience, and ability to work under pressure.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the EMEA region.

The Event & Planning Specialist will play a pivotal role in creating, organizing, and managing events within the EMEA region.
