    Brings together the Company's best-in-class product, technology, and commercialization teams into one global organization.

    Responsible for the P&L management and all distribution, network and engineering operations, sales, advertising, data, and certain key technology functions worldwide for the Company's content engines.

    Also manages operations of the Company's streaming services, as well as domestic broadcast and cable television networks.

    Creates products, platforms, and innovations for The Walt Disney Company by driving the strategic development and use of technology, building scalable systems and products to empower our businesses and engage consumers.

    With global scale, local presence, and deep technological excellence, helps optimize technology, platforms, and resources, while bringing creative ideas to life and creating industry-shaping approaches.

    The Project Manager / Scrum Lead will work with various Engineering teams to facilitate and support Agile ceremonies and coach scrum teams on Agile best practices and principles to enable the delivery of high value product increments to our users.

    This candidate will liaise with other Scrum Leads within the product ecosphere to manage cross-product dependencies and timelines and to report project status to an executive audience
    . Successful candidates must be confident communicators, highly proactive, detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to autonomously work on concurrent implementations across matrixed teams both inside and outside Technology.

    They must be capable of clearly communicating schedules, risks, issues, and processes to a variety of business, creative, and technical audiences.

    They must be able to partner with other project managers, scrum leads and technical leads outside their area to coordinate work, deliverables, and schedules.


    Basic Responsibilities:
    Lead agile ceremonies, such as daily stand-ups, sprint plannings, backlog refinements, retrospectives, and demos.
    Provide support using a servant leadership style, facilitate discussions and decision making in meetings, and resolve team impediments at multiple levels of an organization
    Coach teams in Agile best practice, supporting their self-organization and agile methodology knowledge growth
    Use tools and techniques to support the team in shipping high quality software increments such as User Stories, Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Automated Testing and Burndown charts
    Maintain dashboards, status reports, roadmaps, and release schedules as an input into regular status reports and monthly program reviews with an executive audience
    Maintain and analyze metrics that provide visibility to stakeholders on project progress and quality and know how to leverage those metrics to identify project needs and take corrective action
    Communicate delivery times and scope to other software engineering teams that depend on a timely delivery
    Manage smaller projects that impact your scrum team, including developing project plans and timelines for projects and project deliverables
    Holds functional managers accountable for their teams' deliverables
    Identifies and manages issues and risks and drives decision making
