    Description
    As a File Clerk for our client, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient processing of applications for licensure in professional and technical fields. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of administrative tasks crucial to the licensing process.
    • Answer written, telephone, or face-to-face inquiries regarding the licensing process and requirements.
    • Review applications for completeness and follow up with applicants to address any deficiencies.
    • Identify and escalate questionable applications or documents to supervisors or appropriate unit areas.
    • Interpret rules and regulations governing the license and issuance process.
    • Conduct record searches to determine the license status and history of individuals and corporations, providing information to applicants as needed.
    • Assist applicants in completing and submitting applications accurately.
    • Electronically preserve documentary records as required, maintaining records for the specified retention periods and purging outdated records.
    • Perform other special tasks and duties as assigned by supervisors.
    Qualifications:
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and basic computer applications.
    • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Familiarity with regulatory processes and legal terminology is advantageous.
    Required Experience:
    • Minimum of one year of experience reviewing and processing applications for licensure in professional and technical occupations.

    Duration: Initial estimated service dates are for 5/6/2024-5/5/2025, however services may be extended for up to a total of two years.
