    Physical Therapist Advanced-YMCA - FT/First Shift

    Location: US-OH-Hamilton

    Type: Full-Time

    Overview

    Kettering Health is a not-for-profit system of medical centers and outpatient facilities in southwest Ohio.     Responsibilities
    • Evaluate and treat patients following state and national practice acts
    • Develop and adjust treatment plans to address symptoms and functional limitations
    • Tasks include direct patient care, scheduling, supervision, consultation, documentation, quality assurance, education, guest relations, and billing

    Minimum Education: Graduation from accredited physical therapy school, Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate required.

    Required Licenses: Physical Therapist license in Ohio required.

    Required Skills:

    • CPR certification
    • Ability to evaluate, formulate care plans, and administer treatments
    • Delegate appropriate activities to support staff
    • Knowledge of therapy equipment and electronic medical record documentation
    • Strong interpersonal and multitasking skills

    Specific Job Functions:

    • Interpret medical history and perform evaluations
    • Establish treatment plans based on evaluation and patient goals
    • Implement therapy using evidence-based techniques
    • Maintain therapeutic relationships with patients, families, and caregivers
    • Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge notes accurately and timely
    • Meet quality standards and productivity goals
    • Engage in professional growth opportunities
    • Work collaboratively towards department goals
