Job Summary:

The Physician team RN contributes to the company's mission and supports the company's values by providing safe, effective patient care.

Working independently, if in outreach, the RN will admit and educate patients during outreach clinic visits.

In clinic, the RN will be responsible for managing patient care calls, orders, prep instructions, medication, labs, pathology, and other duties as necessary.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Accurately record patient informationFoster continuity and quality of care with the best interest and well-being of patients and their families in mindAccurately and completely chart patient results, medications, and activities related to patient interactions and provider instructionsComplete medical orders and communicate pertinent information to patient.

Manage telephone communication including patient advice/instruction, addressing prescription requests/questions and assisting patient needs and document actions appropriately. Provide appropriate education of patient and/or family based on condition/diagnosis.
Assist with housekeeping duties and clinic needs.

Excellent problem-solving skillsAble to multi-task and work quickly, with constantly changing circumstances and prioritiesAbility to convey or exchange complex informationStrong computer skillsExcellent interpersonal skills Excellent verbal and written communication skillsMust be willing to travel to Outreach ClinicsEducation and Experience:Registered Nurse with current WY RN license BLS certification requiredACLS certification preferredMinimum of 1 year of experience in a GI Clinic, Surgery Center or Critical Care setting highly preferredProficiency in MS Excel, electronic health systems and databases, such as gMed, requiredKnowledge of GCP, federal, state, and local regulations, including HIPAA policies and procedures.
