Production Manager Role Overview:
The Production Manager role involves overseeing manufacturing departments to optimize resources and achieve operational goals efficiently. Responsibilities include managing spare parts, service, repairs, and warranty support, ensuring customer satisfaction, and aligning with strategic growth plans. Based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, this position involves supervisory duties.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise machining production activities to achieve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity targets daily.
Manage safety concerns and enforce safe work methods.
Coordinate manufacturing activities and implement cost reduction initiatives.
Lead continuous improvement and 5S activities.
Collaborate with Supply Chain for inventory management.
Prepare detailed work instructions according to ISO standards.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 5+ years of supervisory experience.
Strong background in machining and LEAN Manufacturing.
Ability to read blueprints and excellent computer skills.

Desired Characteristics:

Experience in Lean/5S implementation.
Familiarity with ISO requirements and precision shop tools.
