- Scrubs, sets and maintains sterile field. Assembles necessary supplies and equipment needed for surgical procedures.
- Assists with patient positioning and transport.
- Assists the surgeon with functions that are within their scope of practice.
- Maintains sterility at all times during surgical procedures.
- Assists in room clean up and turn over as needed.
- Operates the steam autoclave and other sterile processing equipment.
- Anticipates up coming cases and prepares accordingly.
- Graduate of an accredited school of surgical technology or a OR Technician with a minimum of five (5) years of recent experience.

We perform both inpatient and outpatient procedures on adult and pediatric populations in our 8 Operating rooms and 3 Endoscopy Rooms.
The Nurses and Surgical Technologists provide intraoperative care for a variety of service lines including Orthopedics, Ortho Spine, General, GYN, Robotics, Neuro, ENT, Vascular, Ophthalmology, and Endoscopy.
Summary:
The surgical technician is a skilled professional well versed in anatomy and basic surgical procedures that is able to function in the roll of back table set up and first assist as needed.
