Transport Driver

St. Elizabeth Care Center located in beautiful St. Elizabeth, MO is currently seeking a driver for our Transportation department.


Applicants must have the following:

Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Transport Driver to join our team. As a Transport Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting residents to their doctors appointments.

This position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to maintain a clean and safe vehicle, and a valid Class E driver's license.

Qualified applicants must be willing to work Monday - Friday and be on call at any given time. There will be occasions when an emergency transport will be necessary.


Responsibilities:

• Safely drive residents to designated locations
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations
• Communicate effectively with residents, doctors, staff.
• Maintain cleanliness and perform routine maintenance checks on the vehicle
• Adhere to company policies and procedures
• Complete necessary paperwork or documentation for each trip
• Ensure the safety of residents during transportation

Qualifications:

• Valid Class E driver's license with a clean driving record
• Previous experience in shuttle driving, limousine services, commercial driving, delivery driving, or school bus driving is preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to lift heavy objects when necessary
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be reliable, punctual, and professional
