The actuarial analyst III develops and finalizes products, rates, rating plans, pricing strategies and financial forecasts to achieve company-wide objectives for profitability and growth.
Develops new approaches to test the accuracy of projections,
Analyze trends factors and issues that impact results;
Selects reviews and finalizes analyst selections of loss development patterns for each product.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for developing and finalizing products rates rating plans pricing strategies financial forecasts
- SUPPORT CLAIMS ANALYSES FORECAST BUSINESS EXPENSES PRODUCE QUARTERLY RATE LEVEL INDICATIONS SELECT REVIEWS AND FINALIZES ANALYST SELECTION OF LOSS DEVELOPMENT PATTERNS FOR EACH PRODUCT LEAD CONTACT WITH THE PRODUCT DEPARTMENT TO GENERATE AND FINALIZE NECESSARY DOCUMENTATION FOR FILINGS WITHIN EACH STATE RESPONDING TO THE DEPARTMENT OF INSURANCE AS REQUIRED INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO FILLING RLIS RATES LEVEL INDICATIONS AND STATE-REQUIRED EXHIBITS EXCESS PROFIT EXCESS EXPENSE ACTUARIAL CERTIFICATIONS COLLABORATE WITH THIRD-PARTY CONSULTANTS WORK WITH AUDITORS APPLIES EXPERT KNOWLEDGE TO IMPROVE PROCESSES ASSISTS WITH ALL ASPECTS OF PREDICTIVE MODELING INCLUDING SCOPE DATA CONSTRUCTION MODELING IMPLEMENTATION ASSISTS IN QUARTERLY RESERVE ANALYSIS PREPARE MONTHLY ESTIMATED LOSS RATIO REPORTS FOR ACCOUNTING TEAM MANAGE REVIEW WORK OF ANALYST(S)
