    Description


    Job DescriptionWork with a great team and cutting edge scanning technology as a patient-centered MRI Technologist in a Level 1 Trauma Center.

    This position joins an expanding team and performs MRI exams using independent judgment and initiative, prepares patients for MRI exams, administers contrast media, and is proficient with IV starts.

    This position also functions as a resource for Radiologic Technology students and interns and is an advocate for MRI safety.


    This job provides:
    Environmental balance techs per scanner. Safety focus around MRI safety. Creative work schedule and more time outside of work (a four-week rotating schedule). Lots of variety - rotation through both hospital and on-campus outpatient clinics.


    Work Schedule:
    Per diem, based on department needs. 8- and 12-hour shifts.


    Required Qualifications:

    Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with the advanced ARRT registry in MRI with a minimum of one year of MRI experience, OR Completed a comprehensive ARRT-accredited MRI program with an advanced registry in MRI.

    BLS from an AHA- or ARC-sponsored program.


    Additional Information:
    This is a non-union 0.0 FTE (per diem) position working in St. Paul, MN. The full salary range for this position is $36.38-$51.25 per hour, based on experience, plus shift differentials. This position is non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
