Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability, or operationsProvide technical leadership in developing solutions and/or devising new approaches to problems encounteredAssist in identifying and organizing requirements, apply relevant usability procedures and principles.
Conduct or participate in technical reviews of requirements, specifications, designs, code and other artifacts.Provided consultation to MEs and Managers regarding SPMs and SkidsProvide timely corrective actions on defects.
Assign, direct and review work of technicians and provide guidance to engineers.
Continually evaluate engineering approaches and risk.
Contribute to design standards and support design re-use.
Provide post production support.
Provide technical guidance to engineer's designers/drafters as required.
Required Skills (Technical Competency):Experience in designing of mechanical components in a complex engineering environment (Down hole tool and surface equipments)Analysis, design suggestion and design and develop and test the suggested replacement.
Familiar with and designed for harsh condition such as high vibration, high temperature and in space limited/size minimizing packages.API Standards
