Description

Jonathan Club is an upscale, members-only, private club located in Santa Monica on the beach.

Club facilities include food & beverage outlets both casual and fine dining, luxurious meeting spaces, and a state-of-the-art athletics facility featuring wellness programs and spa services. These are the positions we will be interviewing for, please note that these positions pay an already established flat rate as they are non-gratuity-based positions.

The Receptionist is responsible for the following:

• Daily operation of the Main Office
• Will work directly with our office staff to ensure all administrative tasks are efficiently and effectively implemented.

Requirements

• High school or GED degree
• Ability to access, input and retrieve information from a computer.
• Knowledge of Windows 98 - Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Ability to type 60 words per minute.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to comprehend and follow instructions, make decisions with minimum supervision and prioritize tasks in order to meet appropriate deadlines.
• Ability to recollect and quickly retrieve dates, names, times and other data.
• Ability to converse calmly with irate members, staff, concessionaires, vendors and the general public in sometimes intense emotional situations.
• Ability to focus and direct attention to the performance of tasks despite periods of interruptions.
• Ability to work under pressure and complete assignments on time when confronted with frequent stressful, emergency, critical or unusual situations.
• Ability to walk, sit, sand, lift, reach, pull, twist, turn and grasp.
• Must have strong interpersonal skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks at once, and a wide breadth of experience managing clerical responsibilities.
