Reporting to the Reliability Superintendent, this Specialist will ensure that Asset Health & Maintenance tasks are optimized to achieve equipment performance and longevity targets.

They will conduct root cause failure analysis, Vibration Routes, Thermography Routes, Alignments, Ultrasonic thickness testing, training, and collaborate with the workforce and field managers to create improvement.

• Actively investigate equipment failure to identify root causes.
• Predict Equipment Failures
• Identify and drive corrective actions and strategies and changes.
• Establish historical trends to demonstrate cause and effect relationships for changes made.
• Ensure continuous improvement

• At least 5 years of experience of maintenance / reliability in the mining industry with practical experience in Preventive Maintenance in a mining environment. Understanding of reliability engineering techniques and equipment including but not limited to root cause analysis, lubrication analysis and Instrumentation.
• Intermediate computer skills; Microsoft Office with emphasis on spreadsheets.
• Able to speak, comprehend, read, and write English

• Experience and/or certified with FLIR thermography, CSI vibration, oil analysis and non-destructive testing.
• CMMS Experience (SAP preferred)
• Experience in more than one condition monitoring discipline.

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, including walking up and down stairs and across uneven surfaces.
• Ability to climb ladders and work at heights.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in both hot and cold environments with high humidity.
