    6 month contract set to convert to permanent hire
    Full Time position, overtime available (40 hrs/week, in-office)


    The Assistant Construction Manager will provide comprehensive support to various project managers and supervisors, including Construction Project Managers, Project Managers, Site Managers, and/or Engineer Procure Construct (EPC) Project Managers or Program Managers.

    Responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day project activities such as safety management, quality assurance, scheduling, cost control, contract management, subcontractor coordination, procurement, documentation, client interaction, and field operations.

    Initially focused on electrical transmission and distribution projects, this role may involve diverse projects across industries such as aviation, commercial building, manufacturing, oil & gas, power generation, process, and water.

    Adherence to company safety programs and collaboration with project teams to ensure safety and health compliance for all stakeholders.
    Support project managers in overseeing safety, quality, scheduling, cost control, contracts, and subcontractors.
    Assist in project risk assessment, contract negotiation, and document preparation.
    Coordinate project plans, including safety, staffing, and procurement.
    Facilitate project audits, compliance checks, and materials management.
    Collaborate with site management to ensure subcontractor compliance and project turnover.
    Maintain accurate documentation, support invoicing processes, and analyze labor and equipment costs.

    Requirements:
    4-8 years of experience working through a project lifecycle (project management, construction management, project engineers, or related field)
    Bachelor's degree in Construction, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant experience may substitute for degree.
    Minimum of 4 years of construction experience.
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and project management software.
    Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
    Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
    Previous experience in relevant industries preferred.
    Basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
    Must meet company driving requirements.
