    Description

    We are seeking a Systems Engineer with a background in Microsoft Windows Server, Office 365, and application support to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the management, maintenance, and administration of our on-prem and cloud infrastructure, including Windows Servers, VMWare, Office 365, and Active Directory, as well as the support and maintenance of our business-critical applications. The role requires strong technical skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. This role will be for internal and external facing support.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage and maintain our on-prem and cloud infrastructure, including Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, and Office 365.
    • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
    • VMWare Administration
    • Ensure the security and integrity of our on-prem & cloud infrastructure and data.
    • Provide application support for our business-critical applications, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and upgrades. Which will include internal and external support.
    • Participate in the planning, design, and implementation of new systems and technologies.
    • Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure the smooth operation of our systems and infrastructure.
    • Create and maintain documentation related to system administration and support.
    • Ticket Management Skills (Atlassian/Jira)
    • Printer & Printer Server Management
    • Networking Management --- including Meraki and UbiquitiWiFi
    • Manage Datto & Cloud Backup
    • Monitor Alerting Solutions
    • Experience with Scripting & Automation Tools

    Requirements:

    • 3+ years of experience in system administration with a focus on Microsoft products including Windows Server, Active Directory, and Office 365.
    • Experience with cloud infrastructure management, including Active Directory and Office 365.
    • Strong technical skills in Microsoft technologies, including Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, and SharePoint.
    • Experience with application support, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and upgrades.
    • Basic to Intermediate understanding of Security Policies
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

    Preferred:

    • Microsoft certification in Azure or Office 365.
    • Experience with PowerShell scripting.
    • Familiarity with ITIL processes and procedures.
    • Familiarity with SQL databases.
    • Familiarity with VMWare vSphere or other similar datacenter virtualization products.
    • Familiarity with endpoint management solutions such as InTune
    • Familiarity with data backups (structure, policy, scheduling, etc.)
