    Responsibilities

    Spring Valley Hospital is a member of The Valley Health System, a network of six acute care hospitals that provide care for patients throughout Southern Nevada and nearby communities. Located in southwest Las Vegas, the 364-bed hospital offers emergency care, advanced cardiovascular and neurological surgeries and procedures, surgical services, women's health, comprehensive maternity services, and a level III neonatal intensive care unit. Spring Valley Hospital is accredited by The Joint Commission ("TJC") and has achieved TJC Advanced Certifications in Primary Heart Attack, Thrombectomy-Capable Stroke, and Hip and Knee Total Joint Replacement. Spring Valley Hospital has garnered recognition by US News & World Report for its outstanding achievements in several specialty programs, such as Heart Failure, Heart Attack, Kidney Failure, COPD, and Stroke.     ER at Blue Diamond, an Extension of Spring Valley Medical Center, is a freestanding emergency department providing 24/7 emergency care to infants, children and adults. ER at Blue Diamond has achieved TJC Advanced Certifications in Acute Stroke Ready and Acute Heart Attack Ready.

    Job Description:

    Responsible for providing a comprehensive evaluation of cognitive, communication skills and/or swallowing function and providing goal-oriented treatment to facilitate maximum communication and/or swallowing potential.

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    Education Masters Degree from a university program satisfying the ASHA academic and intern requirements for the Certificate of Clinical Competence.

    Experience One (1) to two (2) years experience preferred. Technical Skills License/Certification Nevada State License as a Certified Speech Pathologist. ASHA CCC-SLP certification or in the process of completing Clinical Fellowship year. Current BLS certification.

    $41.02 / Hourly - $41.02 / Hourly

    Starting At: 41.02 Hourly
    Up To: 54.35 Hourly
