- Meet with Principal Investigator on a regular basis to discuss proposed/ongoing studies, discuss implications of findings, and provide insights into new research directions

Description
Dr.Adrian Piliponsky, Center for Immunity and Immunotherapies, Seattle Children's Research Institute, Department of Pediatrics, University of Washington, Seattle, WA, is recruiting a postdoctoral researcher to work on projects focused on understanding the role of mast cells in homeostatic processes, innate immunity against bacterial infections and allergic disease.
This lab has a wealth of transgenic, knockout, and knock in mice and other valuable reagents and uses normal donor and patient cells to elucidate physiological responses as well as normal and pathological mechanisms.
The Piliponsky lab is supported by state-of-the-art methodologies used in human and murine systems including CRISPR/Cas9, spatial transcriptomics, and animal models of allergic disease and bacterial infections.
Basic qualifications:
The candidate must have an MD and/or PhD degree. The ideal candidate will be independent, innovative, and interactive, with a strong background in immunology, biochemistry, and molecular biology.
