    Clinical IT Systems Director

    Job Title - Position Description: Director, Clinical IT Systems

    Reports to: VP, IT

    MISSION

    The Director Clinical IT Systems will lead the implementation and integration of clinical IT systems including initiating and fostering vendor and partner relationships with the vendors for the core IT systems. The Director will assist the VP of IT with position definition and recruitment of analysts and technicians for the core IT team and will directly oversee and manage the clinical IT staff. They will be accountable for both operational and project-based goals in addition to overseeing the ongoing operations of the clinical IT systems environment.

    OUTCOMES
    • EHR and Clinical Ancillary systems implementation, optimization, management, and administration.
    • Ensures enterprise clinical systems are implemented and optimized for operations including workflow design and documentation.
    • Partners with clinical operations leaders to align IT with overall clinic/ASC operations.
    • Consult on system selection and integration opportunity including reviewing current systems as well as new or planned systems.
    • Vendor management for assigned clinical systems.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Basic Qualifications:

    Education:
    • Bachelor's Degree
    Previous, Job Relevant Work Experience:
    • Minimum 5 years managing a complex IT environment
    • Minimum 3 years directly managing a team of multiple FTEs
    • Experience managing IT budgets and operating expenses
    • A combination of training, education, and experience that is equivalent to the employment standard listed above
