- Floor Management: Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant floor, ensuring efficiency and adherence to protocols.
- Guest Satisfaction: Anticipate and address guest needs and concerns promptly to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Training and Development: Train new team members and provide ongoing coaching to enhance their skills and performance.
- Quality Control: Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and portion control to maintain consistency.
- Problem Resolution: Handle guest complaints and resolve issues effectively and professionally.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other department supervisors and managers to ensure seamless coordination.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a lead, trainer or supervisory role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a high-volume restaurant environment.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
- Strong customer service orientation with a passion for exceeding guest expectations.
- Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to effectively train and develop team members.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including basic wine and cocktail knowledge, is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in hospitality management is a plus.

Job Description: As a Floor Supervisor at Rusty Pelican Tampa, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant floor. You will lead by example, providing guidance and support to our front-of-house team while maintaining the highest standards of service excellence. Your keen eye for detail and exceptional communication skills will contribute to creating an unforgettable dining experience for our guests.
