    ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Customer Site Surveys: Survey the site, identify camera locations, wire runs and connection to head-end equipment.
  • Design and Drafting: Recommend the best cameras, services and network equipment for video security needs. Update CAD drawings and floor plans showing camera and equipment locations and coverage.
  • Quote Creation: Generated a detailed bill-of-materials and quotation for all parts based on the design.
  • Installation Support: Advise project managers and installation supervisors on the design and ensure that the system is installed in a manner that meets design objectives.
  • OTHER DUTIES:

  • Other duties as assigned
  • REQUIRED ACCREDITATION:

  • Bachelor's Degree; preferably in Engineering or Architecture
  • 2-5 years relevant experience
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • US Citizen required
  • REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Ability to travel to customer sites within the metro-DC area, and occasional travel (up to 20%) within the US.
  • Ability to make customer presentations in a clear, understandable manner is required.
  • Ability and knowledge to use computer and effectively use Microsoft Office Applications, including Excel, Word and Outlook and other Kastle internal tools to facilitate business processes
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction documents and wiring diagrams.
  • Ability to perform detailed work, being careful about detail and being thorough in completing tasks
  • Demonstrated self composure, adaptability, persistence, a high tolerance for stress and unquestionable integrity.
  • Ability to write and maintain accurate daily records.
  • Ability to interface and communicate with customers and co-workers in a clear and professional manner.
  • Neat, professional appearance.
  • Available to work overtime, weeknights, and/or weekends.
  • Must be willing to participate in and pass the company's pre-employment screening process including a background investigation, drug screening and driving record.
  • Must continue to maintain a safe driving record and valid driver's license to fulfill the travel requirements of this position.
  • Must be able to meet and continue to meet state licensing requirements for security.
  • Must be able to meet client background and suitability screening when required to access client's data and/or site.

The employee must be able to climb stairs and ladders, and carry tools and equipment not to exceed seventy-five pounds. The employee must be physically and mentally capable of functioning effectively with moderate to high levels of stress in a demanding and dynamic environment. Travel by automobile, plane and other modes of public transportation is required.
