Technical Project Manager / SME with Security Clearance

Technical Project Manager / SME – 10-15 years of applied technical experience at the senior / program leadership level; advises and consults in a highly specialized, leading edge information technologies and methodologies for cyber security requirements.

Provides highly technical and specialized guidance concerning automated cyber solutions to complex information security identification and remediation problems. Performs elaborate analysis and studies. Prepares reports and gives presentations. May serve as a Contractor Program Manager. The SME understands, articulates and implements best practices related to their area of expertise.

Depending on the work environment, the SME may lead or be an active participant of a workgroup with the need for specialized knowledge.

The SME provides guidance on how their area of capability can resolve an organizational need and actively participates projects involving the Network or Enterprise architecture or in phases of the Software, Hardware, and cybersecurity systems life cycle processes.

ALL personnel shall hold expertise using NESSUS Scanner / ACAS – a brief overview follows:

The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) selected Tenable Security Center to power the Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) program.

The ACAS mission is to assess DoD enterprise networks and connected IT systems against DoD ATO and RMF standards, as well as identify any known system vulnerabilities.

The objective is DoD cyber compliance, reducing cyber risk and ensuring visibility of all assets and vulnerabilities across the network.
