    Lead Software Delivery EngineerOverview

    SessionM, a Mastercard company, is looking for a Lead Software Delivery Engineer to provide technical leadership for our build pipeline creation and orchestration, source code repository service, security scanner tooling, and other aspects of CI/CD. The selected candidate will be actively involved in researching new technologies/tools that can be incorporated to improve the current system. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, intellectually curious, and possesses an analytical mindset and good communication skills.

    Role

    In this position, you will
    * Be the technical lead of the US part of the team
    * Architect and design new functionality
    * Develop new and maintain existing CI/CD processes
    * Promote code-reviews, code scanning, and other standard development practices
    * Identify opportunities and build roadmaps to enhance our team's services
    * Automate and simplify all aspects of software delivery, actively evangelizing the need to automate and simplify where needed
    * Provide guidance on new technologies to influence the direction of automation
    * Be a contact point for CI/CD incidents happening during US office hours
    * Communicate and work together with the European part of the team

    All About You

    Essential skills:
    * Linux and scripting (Python or Shell)
    * GitLab administration (or GitHub, Bitbucket)
    * CI/CD process understanding and automation experience
    * Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code - such as Terraform, Cloud Formation, or AWS CDK
    * AWS experience - we are heavily into EC2, ECS, S3, Lambdas, etc.
    * Docker/containers
    * Excellent written and oral communication skills

    Desirable/additional knowledge:
    * Black Duck
    * Checkmarx
    * Container security scanning
