    The Logistics Manager is responsible and accountable for the successful execution of all outbound distribution, warehousing, and reverse logistics activities throughout Bosch Home Comfort North America (HCNA). This role oversees a team of 10, orchestrating and ensuring successful daily warehousing operations, to include aspects of internal policy compliance, OSHA compliance, and warehouse asset management while continuously identifying and implementing improvements. Job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the below.

    Job Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Manages resources appropriately to maximize utilization and ensure timely workload completion
    • Responsible for On Time Shipping performance (SL2), timely receiving (Dock to Stock), and logistics service quality (picking errors, damages, etc.)
    • Collaborates with Bosch HSE and Facilities Management to ensure safe, secure, accountable, and compliant work environments and processes
    • Manages the organizations relationships with Logistics Service Providers (Warehouse, LTL, FTL, Parcel, etc.)
    • Reviews and processes freight and warehousing invoices for legitimacy and accuracy
    • Develops capital investment proposals to incorporate needed infrastructure investments and equipment acquisitions to maximize Distribution Center efficiency
    • Pushes organization specific priorities and requirements during contract negotiations and logistics strategy meetings
    • Ensures returned materials are being processed in a timely and appropriate manner
    • Manages the claims process ensuring maximum recovery and Logistics Service Provider accountability
    • Responsible for devising and executing long-term and short-term strategies to secure target achievement and business continuity
    • Develops robust presentations and delivers strategy, metrics, and proposals to upper-level management
    • Develops and maintains transportation routing guides and freight cost tables
    • Manages 3PLs/Warehousing Partners to ensure contract compliance and satisfactory performance
    • Analyzes and interprets data to drive performance improvements, cost savings, and corrective actions
    • Ensures current work instructions are maintained for all distribution center processes
    • Works hands on with warehouse teams as needed, leading by example, to ensure mission accomplishment
    • Ensures staff is cross-trained, promoting a greater breadth of knowledge across the staff
    • Continually looks for ways to improve the performance of the Distribution Centers overall performance, cost effectiveness, and quality of service
    • Travel Expectation: Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed (up to 25%)

    Qualifications:
    Qualifications

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree with 5+ years of Logistics/Distribution/Warehousing experience or in lieu of a degree, 8+ years of Logistics/Distribution/Warehousing experience and a High School Diploma / GED
    • 3+ years of management or supervisory experience in a logistics / warehouse environment
    • 5+ years of WMS (Warehouse Management Systems), e.g. SAP, Oracle, Blue Yonder, Red Prairie, JDA, etc.
    • 5+ years of experience with MS Office products such as Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookups, Conditional Formatting, etc.)

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Strong communication and relationship building skills
    • Excellent organization and project management skills
    • Ability to multi-task and be flexible
    • Leadership skills, initiative, detail orientation, strong analytical skills, and decisive decision-making skills
    • SAP experience preferred
