Summary & Essential FunctionsThe Reporting Analyst is responsible for gathering, arranging, inspecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to provide insights that support business decisions.

The Reporting Analyst works collaboratively with business leaders to create and maintain reports, dashboards, and other data visualization tools to communicate health and profitability of the business.

Collect and analyze raw data to develop insights and recommendations for business decisions.
Create and maintain reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify trends.
Communicate the results of data analysis in written and verbal forms to business leaders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and requirements for reporting and analysis.
Support business in reaching goals through analysis and reporting.
Consulting on areas of uncertainty to promote optimal use of ideas derived from data.
Develop and implement data quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency of data.
Analyzing data, with due consideration for the influence of missing information, outliers, plus confounding and extraneous variables.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to increase efficiency and effectiveness of reporting.
Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders through presentations and written reports.
Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in reporting and analytics.
Required Skills, Abilities, Education & ExperienceExperience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BIAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft ExcelBasic understanding of SQLAbility to work with large datasets and analyze complex dataExcellent communication and presentation skillsExcellent critical thinking skills to help solve business issues and make decisionsGeneral knowledge of business operations, objectives, strategies, process, and information flowStrong attention to detail and accuracyUnderstanding of statistical analysis and modelingKnowledge of database design and data warehousing principlesAbility to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyExperience in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentAnalytical skills that allow for the development of data-driven reportsBachelor's degree in a related field such as Business, Accounting, or Finance3+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence
