The primary role of this position is to provide support and leadership for technical matters in facilities maintenance department activities. This position identifies problems and assists with corrective actions leading to continuous improvements.  In addition to, coordinating the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of facilities' equipment, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, security, and facility grounds, the Technician III works to guide, train, mentor, and otherwise assist other technicians and associates. 

In this role, a typical day will look like:

• Perform the troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, installation, calibration, and improvement of Hach equipment.
• Provide training and documentation as needed for end-users.
• Provide or request purchased tools and equipment as authorized.
• Coordinate the movement of furniture and equipment as needed.
• Participate on Kaizen Events.
• Required to work off-shift and weekends, as needed, to support facility processes.
• Perform light janitorial, light plumbing, and elevated tasks.
• Operate department vehicles and equipment.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• 4+ years in related role in an applicable environment.
• Experience with building systems (HVAC, boilers, plumbing, electrical).
• Associate's degree or equivalent experience
• Advanced technical or mechanical problem solving

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate's position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $ $34.92 USD per hour. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
