The Business Services Division delivers services to support the educational programs of Orange County school districts, partnering agencies and the business community it serves. The division provides technical, advisory,and management support services to twenty-eight K-12 school districts, four community college districts, four regional occupational programs, as well as other federal, state, and county agencies.

The Business Services team is currently seeking a Business Systems Analyst to provide support to School Districts and OCDE staff. This highly skilled individual will analyze business problems and assess how automated systems can be implemented. The position will support both business managers and end-users as well as coordinate and collaborate with technical teams. The Business Systems Analyst position identifies and facilitates issue resolution with functional and technical groups; document test results; develop and execute comprehensive software test plans; and provide Information Technology (IT) support for regulatory and compliance activities.

KNOWLEDGE OF:

• Concepts and principles of complex integrated business applications, such as Financial Accounting, Human Resources, Credentials, Benefits, Payroll, and Time Attendance.Theories and applications of computer sciences.
• Principles and practices of system testing, analysis, and security administration.
• Methods and techniques used to provide specifications, test, and implement applications.
• Methods and techniques of evaluating business requirements and developing information systemssolutions.
