    About the Role

    The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) plays a pivotal executive leadership role responsible for managing the financial health and strategic planning of the Thomas Keller Restaurant Group.

    Based on site in Yountville, California, this position oversees all financial operations across multiple properties, ensuring fiscal responsibility and alignment with the company's long-term vision.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develops and executes the overall financial strategy in alignment with the company's goals and objectives.
    • Works with restaurant management to prepare annual budgets, forecasting and financial planning processes to optimize resource allocation and financial performance.
    • Implements effective financial controls and systems to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Presents accurate and timely financial reports to the executive team, advisory board and external stakeholders.
    • Optimizes cash flow management and forecasting processes to ensure adequate liquidity for daily operations and future growth initiatives.
    • Fosters a culture of accuracy, collaboration, and professional growth within the finance and accounting teams.

    Desired Qualifications

    • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar position, with demonstrated success in financial leadership within the hospitality or related industries.
    • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
    • Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive financial growth and operational efficiency.
    • Advanced knowledge of financial systems, reporting, and compliance standards.
    • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and manage a team of finance professionals.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of presenting complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders clearly and effectively.
