    Responsibilities

    • Design, implement, and deliver reliable, high-quality embedded and desktop software for complex medical instruments, meeting regulatory standards
    • Participate in designing and implementing C# .Net services for coordinating and controlling medical instrument activities
    • Collaborate with the chief architect on design approaches to find optimal solutions
    • Create, maintain, and review software project documents
    • Contribute to software project risk and hazard analysis
    • Drive software requirements and integration with system requirements
    • Participate in Software Change Control Boards and assist in resolving software defects
    • Utilize software engineering best practices such as unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews
    • Develop software within Continuous Improvement process
    • Enhance the Continuous Improvement process and recommend improvements
    • Work collaboratively within the software group and across disciplines to meet project deadlines

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
    • 5+ years of experience developing software for complex instruments or devices
    • Expertise in designing and implementing SOA, Entity framework, and gRPC
    • Proficiency in revision control systems and issue tracking systems
    • Ability to work independently and in a team setting
    • Strong oral and written communication skills
    • Experience with Agile and object-oriented design methodology
    • Design experience for hardware instruments/devices with motion control interfaces
    • Knowledge of medical device regulatory standards and system risk analysis
    • Experience with software configuration tools and project management tools
    • Creative, able to think innovatively, and manage multiple tasks
    • Organizational and multitasking skills
    • Proficiency in MS Project is a plus
    • Blazor and ASP .Net skills are advantageous
    • This is NOT a remote role
