- Ensures cases are plead and enhanced correctly
- Prepares and completes MOEPs when necessary
- Reviews and ensures all bond recommendations are correct prior to them being presented to the Magistrate
- Responsible for the file when it goes before the Magistrate
- Reviews the work product of subordinate attorneys and provides them with feedback direction and instruction
- Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree
- License to practice law in the State of Texas, with no disciplinary history and in good standing with the Texas State Bar
- Three (3) years of experience practicing criminal law
- Proficient in writing search and arrest warrants, and in drafting Grand Jury subpoena requests
- Working knowledge of the criminal court system
- Ability to review subordinates work product for accuracy and completion
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient using Microsoft software programs
- Regular Full-time
